Construction work at the Khanoba customs post is being carried out in accordance with a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev in April last year. Along with increasing the capacity of the customs post, it is planned to equip it with the latest equipment. In addition, the Khanoba customs post will facilitate faster transportation of goods through the North-South transport corridor, facilitate border crossing processes, expand the country's transit capacity, especially the elimination of queues on the Azerbaijani-Russian border.
